In 1857 the Young family purchased property from the U.S. government. By 1900 they had a working farm and orchard. In 1946, Lynn Young began managing the orchard. His son, Rex followed in his footsteps with the help of his wife, Helen, and many members of the extended Young family. Today Rex's son, David, continues the tradition, providing fresh Michigan apples and delicious cider to the community and surrounding areas.
